- Overview:

Big Think, launched in January 2008, is a site that serves as a public forum for users to interact with public intellectuals in numerous fields.
The site’s producers have recorded thousands of hours of footage from interviews of numerous experts, allowing users to see what today’s leaders feel about broader issues, such as global warming and the two-party system. These interviews are searchable by topic, expert, and question.
The founders of Big Think originally envisioned the site as a YouTube for intellectuals. Over time the site has also become a source of primary information for college students and corporate learning programs.
