Amazon acquired the company in early May 2007 for an undisclosed sum. At the time, the website had over 7 million monthly unique viewers. About dpreview, Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos said “dpreview.com is by far the most authoritative source anywhere for straight talk about new digital cameras”
