Wil Schroter, founder of GotCast, is a serial entrepreneur who has always wanted to be famous in hollywood. He tried to get on MTV’s real world and he auditioned for the lead role in primal fear. He’s also started nine companies, written for Forbes Magazine, and had guest posts on TechCrunch. And, although he still isn’t famous like your average movie star, he wants you to be able to reach that status.

GotCast is a star discovery website that allows users to post profiles and videos of themselves. Users can either be a “fan” or a “talent”. The talents submit audition videos to various castings and the most popular ten will actually get their worked reviewed by real Hollywood casting directors.

The company may not have the network of Crackle’s parent company sony, however actors have flocked to GotCast in hopes of becoming a household name.
