nooked delivers shopping deals direct to consumers’ desktop, Myspace, Facebook, home page, and mobile phones.

The nooked approach is to provide an open platform enabling “sell side advertising”– whereby shopping widgets restore the balance between consumers, publishers, and advertisers. Retailers use the nooked platform so consumers can easily find and promote their products, and nooked provides the reporting services to track sales and referrals through the network of shopping widgets. nooked also provides a full suite of tools and APIs for developers to build shopping widgets.

In April 2008 nooked launched their feedcommerce platform, building on the success of their initial RSS/widget product set. Leading retailers in the UK such as Ryanair, Superbreak, Koodos and many others use the nooked platform.

In August 2008 they soft-launched a Shopping Widget advertising network to to enable shoppers to promote their favorite products and retailers.
