RentFair specialises in residential property letting for private landlords. In a nutshell, it tries to bring the functionality and coverage normally only available to commercial letting agents, to the individual private landlord.
In that aspect, RentFair is probably unique amongst UK property portals in not allowing listings from letting agents.
Properties listed on RentFair are cross-advertised on more established property portals such as PropertyFinder, Fish4, Globrix and Nestoria, giving private landlords relatively wide coverage for their advert. Many of these portals would otherwise be off limits to individual private landlords.
A further useful feature is that Landlord members can save their properties in the site’s database, allowing them to re-let quickly without having to upload property photos and re-enter descriptions.
RentFair has a detailed search function, including a map search, and property-hunters who register with the site can ask for email alerts when matching properties are added to the site.
