Twhirl is a free desktop client for the Twitter microblogging service that is powered by the cross-platform Adobe AIR. The application helps the user sort through incoming “Tweets” by color coding them and allowing timeline filtering and visual & auditory notifications.
There are many additional features that are not available on the standard Twitter site, such as favorites settings, URL shortening, customizable color schemes, multiple Twitter account connections, localization, and cross-posting capabilities to Pownce and Jaiku!
